| Abstract |
Contains congregational histories and color photographs of the churches in the Western North Carolina Association of the Southern Conference of the United Church of Christ. One hundred nineteen churches are located in western North Carolina and two are in Virgina. There are also chapters on the educational institutions affiliated with the UCC, Elon University and Catawba College, as well as orphanages and other benevolent institutions. There is a list of current and former clergy. |
